4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process personal data on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

5. Cookies, advertising and tracking

Daily Pulse uses first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies (web beacons, local storage, pixels). Some are required to operate the site (essential). Others are used for analytics and advertising and are only set with your consent where required.

We work with third-party advertising and recommended-content partners, including but not limited to: programmatic exchanges, content-recommendation platforms, attribution and conversion-measurement vendors, and affiliate networks. These partners may set their own cookies and collect device-level information to serve and measure ads. We do not control their privacy practices; please review their respective policies.

For full detail, including a category-by-category list and how to manage preferences, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Sharing of information

We share personal information only:

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Certain cookie-based advertising may constitute a "sale" or "share" of personal information under CCPA/CPRA; California residents may opt out via the Do Not Sell My Personal Information page.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR (EU/EEA/UK residents): right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Under CCPA/CPRA (California residents): right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, and to limit use of sensitive personal information.

To exercise any right, email privacy@dailypulse.media. We respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA).

8. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected and to meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained in aggregated, non-identifying form.

9. International transfers
